Dear Colleagues:
The following resolution was moved and seconded at a Special General Meeting of the Faculty Association held on 22 March 2016:
"Be it resolved that the Faculty Association of the University of British Columbia has no confidence in the University of British Columbia Board of Governors."
Voting took place electronically and closed at noon today.
The results are 800 members voted in favour of this resolution and 494 members voted against this resolution. There were 3357 eligible voters and a total of 1294 members voted.
This resolution has passed.
As a reminder, UBCFA members include tenure-stream faculty, contract faculty, librarians and archivists, and program directors.
