Voting Has Been Paused

2023 Election of UBCFA Executive Committee Members

It was brought to our attention that the University provided us with a list that included non-bargaining unit members (who are not eligible to vote in the election). We have paused the vote while we sort through this issue and hope to re-open the voting first thing tomorrow morning. If you attempt to follow the link to vote at this time you will be told that “You are not registered to vote in any current ballots”. This message will be visible as long as the election is paused.

If you have already participated in the vote and you are a bargaining unit member this will not effect your vote and you will not have to revote.

When the vote is re-opened you will recieve another email from SimplyVoting with your voting invitation as well as your 7-digit UBC Employee ID number. Our electronic voting is conducted through third party voting software to ensure that your vote is anonymous.
