As well as representing UBC faculty at the bargaining table, the Faculty Association provides daily service and support to all our members through assistance with workplace problems, advocacy, education and engagement. Our services are both proactive and active. We hold programs and events, engage in forums and panels on important faculty issues, and produce a variety of guides to assist you while you’re working at UBC. We are involved in important advocacy work at the provincial and national level to influence policies, intervene in processes, and improve legislation affecting your work life. If you face a challenge, have a question or concern, our Membership Services Officers provide expert confidential advice and representation should your matter require intervention with the University.
